Beyond the Plate is a research-based editorial project exploring Brazilian culture through food and design. The cookbook showcases recipes from different regions of Brazil while highlighting the history and cultural significance behind each dish. As part of the research process, I surveyed participants about cookbook design, reading habits, and user experience to help guide the layout and structure of the book.

This project is deeply personal to me, as it became a way to reconnect with my Brazilian roots and cultural identity. Every design choice, from typography to colors, layouts, and visual elements, was intentionally inspired by Brazilian graphic design and culture to create a meaningful and authentic experience.
